New Years Eve 1966

For those old enough to remember. Here are the top hits for the week ending 12/31/1966.The number 1 song was Snoopy & The Red Baron ....Enough Said!!!! Also interesting is the number of local groups The Bossmen, The Jaywalkers, ? Mark & the Mysterions, The Knightsmen and the Woolies. My God, even Senator Dirkson had a top hit. I don't think I bought that album. Times sure have changed. Even Frank Sinatra, Eddie Fisher and Roger Williams were on the charts. I think I'll grab me a Hamm's or maybe a Shlitz and listen to the Royal Guardsmen as I get ready for this years New Years Festivities

Welcome 2009 !!!!!!!!!!

Christmas is over, Thank God!!!!!!!!!. And 2008 Is almost over as well!!!! Thank God Again.
Since Thanksgiving I have probably gained fifteen lbs.
The Weather turned balmy and the drain in our back yard clogged resulting in 6" of water in the basement.
Many of my drawings and other stuff was ruined.I guess it was time to clean out the basement anyway.
Now the house smells so bad......And most likely will for the next two month's.
Then the weather turned cold and windy. Blowing off a large quauntity of our shingles.
Robs car sits at the Kentwood Ice Arena..... It will not start.
Rob & I are going to the Red Wings Game tonight. I'll probably get hit by a puck.

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all

The Road to Kalamazoo

Well the road wasn't to bad and I sold 126 cases of Easter & Halloween Cookies at Meijer on Gull Rd. On to dinner
Well, its Thursday Morning and the roads are terrible. The Lake Effect Machine has kicked into gear and the roads are extremely Icy. I need to get to Kalamazoo today to sell cookies at Meijer's looks like it's going to be a slow go. MJ & I are going out to dinner tonight with friends of hers. Were going to Reds On the River in Rockford (North GR) We should drop a hundred or so. Not a cheap place. The weather is expected to get worst so hopefully they keep the Beltline salted (Fat Chance) We Got the Christmas decorations up this weekend in preparation for MJ's big Party on the 13th.The way she's inviting people it should be huge. At least I don't have to drive anywhere. Anyway, I've got Pink Floyd on, time to hit the road again
